Bendix

One of the most well-known manufacturing and engineering brands of the 20th century, the Bendix name has appeared on a variety of goods including avionics, vehicle breaking systems, radios, televisions, washers/dryers and even computers.

Founded in South Bend, Indiana in 1924, Bendix developed its reputation in the home appliance category as a pioneer in laundry equipment. In fact, front-loading Bendix washers were the best selling brand of laundry appliances in the 1950s.

More recently Bendix has made its mark in the trucking industry as a leading brand of commercial vehicle break systems.

JMM Lee offers the Bendix brand for license in the United States on power tools and home appliances. The brand's industrial blue collar image is perfect for sturdy power tools or dependable kitchen appliances.
